BEET = THRASH POLKA!

We noticed that the classic Ukrainian folk tune "Oi u poll krynychen'ka," Pachabel's famous "Canon in D" (transposed here), and Green Day's "Basket Case" all share the same bass line, so we combined the first two with the spirit of the third. The lyrics tell the story of Roman, who leaves his oxen to go flirt with Catherine, who is drawing water from a well. As he proceeds to flatter her, she warns him that the process had better not drag on until dawn.
