BEET = GRUNTY!

The Ukrainian word buhai means "bull" (the animal). If you pulled a real bull by the tail it might make a sound similar to that of the large friction drum also known as the buhai. We constructed a few smaller sized bulls to form a buhai quartet, accompanied by a tune on the rizhok (a reed instrument made out of wood & a cow's horn).
